1997 Chevrolet Blazer LS review from North America
"Many minor flaws, devalues faster than Worldcom stock"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I brought this car when it was 1 year old.
Gas-gauge failed at 18000 miles.
Rear View mirror fell off while it was parked in a office building garage.
Transmission went at 32000, pulled in to 7-11 for a coke and then reverse stopped working.
Under-hood light, driver side power window went at 35000.
Found right rear window to be leaking at 37000.
Rear view mirror fell off again while driving on level road. After I made the dealer put it back on the first time.
Rear window sprayer leaks when tailgate is down.
Front window wipers work all the time in dry sunny days and intermittently when raining.
I found that the cheap plastic parts in the interior rattles like mad after 50000, and that the lumbar support, well, doesn't.
General comments?
I have had import cars in my past and finally jumped on the SUV bandwagon, but I am bitterly disappointed.
My next car will be a Toyota.
