1987 Chevrolet Celebrity Eurosport review from North America
"A high performance made to last forever vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought the SW for $100 bucks 12,000 miles ago.
The SW had 198,000 miles on it at time of purchase. Bought it off of the 3rd owner. He is a mechanic by trade, he rebuilt the engine at 180,000.
Right off this awesome wagon needed complete exhaust system, from the Header pipe to the Cat converter on back to the muffler. Saved $100 bucks by buying the parts from a parts dealer.
Fuel line partial replacement.
Power steering fluid line replaced.
Front brakes and calipers.
Rear brakes.
General comments?
The power of the V6,2.8L engine is a joy. Love the hot noise of this engine. Runs strong, comfortable, a real pleasure to drive.
The cabin is immaculate and the seats are comfortable.
The doors are developing some serious rust at the bottom. However I plan to do whatever it takes to keep this beauty looking and running good.
