Where do we start? I purchased the car and everything was fine, until I went to turn in my driveway coming home from the dealer. It stopped, turns out it was the TCC sensor overheating. No biggie, I replaced it. Ran fine for a couple weeks, and started to get a power steering leak. Being familier with this motor, (3.1 60 degree V6) I figured something like this would happen. I fixed it. I was leaving school a week later and I started her up, and the service engine soon light came on, and began flashing. I immediately got mad and went straight to auto zone to have it tested, as I pulled in and began to park, the car shut off and overheated. I went to open the hood and was badly burned. After getting the hood open the car went up in flames. The fire department decided to take their time and there was only the rear of the car left. It had to be a short in some place or another. Hard telling.
For the 495 miles I was able to drive the car, it was excellent. The car was great and ran fine. The car was fast (Anything with the 3.1 V6 is a fast car), that was my whole reason for wanting it. If I had the chance and the money, I would defiantly buy another one, it just turned out the first one I bought had a problem that you couldn't just look at and tell. Handles excellent in rain and stops well. Overall, I loved the car and miss it dearly.
I feel REALLY bad for you. What a crappy thing to happen to a person! Did the dealership do anything about it?
