1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 review from North America
"The Monte Z34 performs so well that's worth keeping"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Driver's side window has had to be re-tracked several times and I replaced the motor, etc. Now, I have to remember to roll up the window before I close my door.
Needed to replace motor mounts: one done, one to go.
Used to have trouble with idling at start-up.
An oil leak resulted in have gaskets replaced.
And, yes, the inside door covering does seem to be peeling away.
General comments?
Considering the mileage on this car, I am not dissatisfied. Quite the contrary, and I'm trying to stay on top of the parts that fail, so that I can keep it as long as possible.
I think the car is roomy enough; however, I agree that the console is a problem. I don't like the way it's laid out.
My car zooms. Love that pick-up. There isn't a highway I can't quickly get on, and handling it is a joy.
