Driver's side window has had to be re-tracked several times and I replaced the motor, etc. Now, I have to remember to roll up the window before I close my door.
Needed to replace motor mounts: one done, one to go.
Used to have trouble with idling at start-up.
An oil leak resulted in have gaskets replaced.
And, yes, the inside door covering does seem to be peeling away.
Considering the mileage on this car, I am not dissatisfied. Quite the contrary, and I'm trying to stay on top of the parts that fail, so that I can keep it as long as possible.
I think the car is roomy enough; however, I agree that the console is a problem. I don't like the way it's laid out.
My car zooms. Love that pick-up. There isn't a highway I can't quickly get on, and handling it is a joy.
Could you please tell me how you got rid of the high idle and then almost stalling out. My car seems to have the same starting problems that I have read about here on this site.
I have had the same problem I believe it was a gasket on the intake manifold or something simple like that, but it was a little costly to fix ($130) Other than that the car is a dream to drive and I'm glad I got it against other opinions.
My 95 Z34 revs up to about 2000 thens drops down to just over a 1000 when starting cold then after a few minutes starts to idle up and down a couple of hundred rpms only for a minute or two then steadys out to a smooth idle. I also have no idea what causes it, had intake manifold gasket, idle air sensor and tps sensor replaced, but still does it when cold, other than that it's a great car to drive and would never get rid of it. Also I just installed 6 new NGK Iridium spark plugs, wow what a noticeable difference I highly reccomend these plugs if you can afford it, about $60 canadian to replace.
