.ABS brake module went out. For $5 dollar fix see Jan.30, 2007, 18:04 posting.
.Fuel pressure regulator, see Jan.30, 2007, 18:04 posting.
.Passenger side door window regulator, buy aftermarket $90, 20 minutes to repair.
.Clunk in transmission when accelerating from stop, caused by clutch packs in transfer case, change grease, there is a service bulletin covering this.
.Light bulbs, head, driving, tail of poor life span, Just cheap to begin with, change out.
.Tail gate retaining cables poor quality, recall by GMC, take to dealer.
.Brake hoses poor quality, Early recall for bracket holding hose, hoses of questionable quality.
.Rear right brake (proportional valve) drags, watch closely, rotate brake pads between rear wheels, inner and outer on same schedule as tire rotation.
.Engine Knock on cold morning starts, Nature of the beast, you will have to live with it.
.Front brake wheel sensors engaging ABS as slow speeds, Safety recall in some states, replaced front wheel sensors.
.Service four wheel drive light comes on, Bad switch have replaced as of yet, will see if there is a fix.
.Sticky throttle (accelerator).Clean throttle body with carb. cleaner using tooth brush.
Another common problem with these trucks is the inside door handles break. I have now changed both drivers and passenger handles on my '97 silverado.
