Thanks, nothing!

It may be hard to find it 'perfect' but it's: 'the best car money can buy'.

2001 Dacia SuperNova clima 1.4 from Romania

Summary:

It's the best car I can afford

Faults:

Thermostat sealing on coolant blew at 9000 km.

A little noise from back inside.

General Comments:

I think this car is good enough for it's price. The Renault engine and gear box give me confidence in this car.

2001 Dacia SuperNova 1.4 from Romania

Summary:

A very good cheap car and good for Romanian roads

Faults:

Dacia Super Nova is a great car on the outside and a bad car on the inside.

After couple of months inside the car is "raining". The mechanics had to take the water out with a small bucket.

Because of the high temperature at the engine (95 degrees Celsius) The radiator will start to leak.

Inside there are lots of annoying sounds while the car is running.

It's a good car for family and also a cheap one. At maximum 6100 Euro you can buy a good car.

The Renault Clio engine works perfectly.

The car doesn't use much fuel. 7 l at 100 km in the city and below 6 l at 100 km outside the town.

The tin is very bad it's thin and if you hit it it's getting ugly.

Every Dacia Super Nova is different. You can get one where it "rains" inside it, one where the windows are hard to open (there is a manual opening system at the windows),or one where the doors will close pretty hard.

It's easy to drive if you compare it with Dacia 1310.

The braking system is great if you drive at 100 km/h.

General Comments:

The car is cheap and works pretty good. It's a very good car for the roads in Romania.

The cabin is not so beautiful and there are lots of noises inside.

2001 Dacia SuperNova Clima 1.4 unleaded petrol from Romania

Summary:

A good cheap car

Faults:

I had to replace the radiator after six months.

Some problems with bad fuel, but they can be resolved.

A little noisy inside, because of the poor rigidity of the back of the car.

The car is not equipped with power assisted steering.

The air conditioning is not very effective.

General Comments:

A good car for Romania and for its roads. It is cheap to run. Most of the parts are cheap and those that aren't cheap are the engine and the gearbox that don't brake.

You can install electric windows for the front doors with less than 100$ and they work very well.

2001 Dacia SuperNova Rapsodie 1.4i from Romania

Summary:

A car for 5000km a year tops

Faults:

So far, the radiator had to be changed. It seems I'll have to do it again since this one is leaking too.

Also, the rear shock absorbers had to be changed. Unfortunately, nobody told me that they have only six months warranty, so I had to pay for them.

Fuel injectors.

General Comments:

Good car for first 15,000 km. After that, problems begin to occur.

Pretty hard to handle on wet roads.

Brakes not on level with the car's performance (heavy braking from 150km/h can prove to be far more difficult than expected).

Poor rear shock absorbers, making the car quite unstable.

Very poor interior final touches. It really leaves a lot to be desired.

Overall, let's just say that the Renault engine and gearbox aren't enough to make this car what manufaturers want it to be.

He hehehhhehhe :-p

My Dear friend... that car RENAULT 12, was first rolled out the factory at early 1970 and at 1974 started to be reproduced-replicated as DACIA in Romania with a million of problems caused by poor assembly. Nevertheless it's a car designed more than 30 years ago... and surely not made to run at 150KM/H... Before you get killed in this terrible piece of junk... please sell it to another stupid or press it or melt it. This is the best you can do with it. OR at last DO NOT repeat DO NOT run it more than 100KM/H.. Best regards.
