2004 Dodge Neon SXT review from North America
"Great car for the money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only thing other than routine maintenance is that the camshaft sensor went out at 57,000 miles. It was replaced under warranty and there have been no other problems.
General comments?
When my wife wanted this car I was against it because I thought it was to small. After buying it I realized it was roomier than our previous car and very nicely laid out.
The car has decent pickup and cruises great.
The handling is better than quite a few so-called hot cars and the four doors are absolutely a godsend.
I've always owned high performance cars and while I would have preferred the SRT-4 model myself I have to admit the SXT is still a kick to drive.
