The car came with an exhaust leak which I thought was one the exhaust headers. It turned out to be something on the intake manifold that was leaking so all I had to do was tighten two bolts and the problem was solved.
It was leaking oil when I bought it and I still don't know what the problem is. I removed the oil cooler, tightened the valve covers and it's still leaking oil (front driver side of engine).
The car came with the air conditioning not working and I doubt I'll fix it.
My car came with the full police package and handles like a dream for the old boat (just as good as my dad's 2000 Grand Marquis).
The 351 is a gas guzzler, but it feels so good to hear it purr when you step on it.
The interior is in perfect condition, no cracks, tears, or missing components.
You said that you couldn't fix the oil leak? Try replacing the valve cover gaskets. Sometimes the gaskets are so bad that they will leak regardless of how tight they are.
