Everyone is entitled to their opinion on automotive design. Everyone likes something different, hence different vehicles on the market. If you don't like it, don't buy it; but if you want a solid family hauler that isn't a van, drive it before you say no completely to it.

I agree, if we all liked the same thing there would only be 1 or 2 vehicles to choose from out there. Personally I was not a huge fan of the Flex when it first came out, but now I like it and since I've driven one, my wife & I love it! We are looking to purchase one very soon, and it helps to see so many positive comments out there on these vehicles.

I have loved the look of Flex since it was a concept vehicle. Mainly because it's different. It is a very distinctive vehicle. I was finally able to buy one in December 2010, and I love it!

After 8 years of driving a minivan, I am happy to have a roomier, more comfortable vehicle for my teenager and her friends or my family to ride in. And there is lots of cargo space if you don't need the 3rd row of seats...

And the ride? Smooth as silk!!! It rides like a luxury vehicle. The sound system rocks. You have 10 cup holders and 4 charging ports. And climate control can be split to up to 3 regions!

Once you drive it... you won't think it's ugly...

It's very true that styling is purely a matter of taste. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. I personally like the styling of the Flex because it is a station wagon. I know that's a bad word in American car terminology, but let's face it, that's what it is. I have always liked station wagons, and the Flex is certainly one of the most unique. Being a Ford, it is very reliable and well built. I greatly prefer it to either an SUV or a mini-van.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I think it is sharp and not your cookie cutter SUV.
