2001 Ford Focus SE review from North America
"Reliable, maneuverable, and -extremely- fun to drive!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
There was a recall on the fuel filter, which was too fine a filter, but I took the car to the dealer and had no problem replacing said filter.
My only other issue with this vehicle was the fact that the back end seems to be so much higher, whether or not I have boosted my seat up. The spoiler does not seem to help with this issue. However, I have learned to work around it, and it is no longer an issue for me.
General comments?
I got this car for a reliable ride to college classes, and the Ford Focus has delivered exactly that. As an added bonus, the Focus is a sedan that's really a sports car in disguise! It is quick, very playful, and extraordinarily fun to drive, each and every day. Driving to and from class has never been boring with this car. I could never trade it in! This car is my baby!
