1988 Ford Mustang LX Hatchback review from North America
"Tons of fun with almost zero repairs"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Driver's side door handle broke.
Replaced alternator.
Replaced heater core. Doing this is an absolute nightmare. If you're brave enough, make sure you have a day or 2.
General comments?
Highway fuel mileage is excellent considering how much power you get. I can get 31 mpg on the highway if I don't drive like an idiot.
I've barely had to lift a wrench the entire time I've owned this car.
If you're looking for something that has a lot of get up and go, and you want a domestic, this is the car for you. Most are at a decent price right now.
