1988 Ford Mustang GT review from North America
"Thrill ride!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My alternator went out at 180,000 miles.
My driver side seat broke at 170,000 miles (racing)
The battery completely died at 220,000 (due to cold weather)
I bent the rear pinion at 225,000 miles (due to racing again)
The light switch went out at 200,000 miles (due to high powered bulbs)
I repainted my car at 230,000 miles for a change.
General comments?
I love this car and could not give it up for anything.
As you can tell the only problems I have with this car is from racing or from old age.
I think its really neat that I could bend a ring and pinion with a almost stock engine by racing it everyday.
