1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe review from North America
"Sleek styling, Very quick and fun to drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I blew 4 or 5 alternators.
The inside cloth part of the roof is was badly damaged, so I took it out.
The oil leaks.
The A/C doesn't work.
General comments?
The boost on this car will make you grip the steering wheel out of sheer fear. The boost is limited at 18 PSI, but gets up to 22 PSI before the computer restrains it.
This car looks good and is easy to soup up.
The thing will run forever. 190,000K!!
Car tops out at 143 MPH.
If you pack the inter-cooler with dry ice it runs even faster.
(denser air=better boost)
