1995 Ford Thunderbird LX review from North America
"A surprisingly great all-around car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had a bunch of random EGR system problems right after buying. Took over a month and 6 visits to the auto shop to get it finally "fixed." Inner p/s door handle broke (someones fault). Alternator went at 145,000. Routine items: brakes, tires, etc..
General comments?
I was not a Ford fan when I picked my green baby up. The next day I was hooked. This car is amazingly fun to drive. It handles well, has decent power, and is extremely comfortable. I got power everything, the only thing I left out was the moon roof (unfortunately). This car still hangs in there on long road trips despite the high mileage. I am currently in the process of trying to find another 1995 LX V8 with the full package, Silver, moon roof, and under 80,000 on the odometer. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great!
