Lots of road noise at highway speeds.
I should have bought the Camry.
This is a case of lets tag a company as being "overrated" due to the overall poor maintenance that I provided on my vehicle. Cars are machines (even Camry's) and they do break. If all the problems this consumer had were not do to lack of maintenance, Honda's original warranty would have easily covered them. With an invoice to the customer stating a balance of $0.
Hmmm I think that Honda is the most overrated car company in existence. I agree no car is perfect, but according to some overzealous owners and journalist it is. I live on dirt roads in central wisconsin. No one drives hondas around here because they rust out very very fast. Also the dust seems to mess up the electronics and the automatic transmissions seem to go out more on honda's than they do on other cars. Also, as I have seen on 3 civics, once your timing belt goes your car is toast. All the cute little valves do a face plant into the head. You could rev up a chrysler four banger up to the red line and have the belt break and still be okay. Also I looked in the paper for used hondas. Funny how I can find plenty of 80s cars from other makes, but only one 80s honda. It was a 89 civic and needed tons of work. There was only 7 hondas total for sale in the paper. Hmmmm curious. Also I have seen hondas of only a few years of age starting to rust around the wheel wells. Plus parts cost are ridiculous!
Funny how in Minnesota we have more 1980s cars made by Honda in the paper with over 200,000 miles. Nice try Ford salesman.
