2000 Honda Odyssey LX review from North America
"Started out well, nothing but problems now"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission replaced at 112000 miles.
Catalytic converter replaced 2 weeks later.
EGR valve now needs replacing at 117000---for the second time.
Check engine light comes on every two weeks now. It's a different problem every time.
Brakes have to be repaired often.
Manual side doors are a problem. Right one replaced at 65000 miles. Left one will need replacing soon.
General comments?
Great for hauling a large family on long trips until this summer.
Fairly fuel efficient on the interstates.
