"Head turning, cruising machine"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The 4ws light came on and it stopped working, I sorted it myself by resetting the 4ws ecu.

General comments?

I've had lots of hondas and I wouldn't really want anything else, I have had several honda civics and really liked them. they've all been reliable and have never let me down.

I fancied a change so looking at my budget I had about £4000 to spend, I was looking on the trader and internet for a new honda, this thing caught my eye, the honda prelude 5th gen with the motegi kit on, the car looks stunning, without the kit it looks a bit funny, but with the motegi kit and wheels it looks the part.

The price was reasonable, the mileage was low and the car was in excellent condition, one look at the car and it was bought.

The interior is very nice, but it's a bit cramped in the back, it comes with ac and a sunroof.

The performance of the car is excellent, according to parkers it can go from 0 to 60 in 6.7 seconds, it is definetely a quick car, but when the vtec kicks in it doesn't give you much of kick like the older civics do, but one look at the speedo says it all. a porsche boxster driver couldnt pull away from me, infact I was closing the gap, you should have seen the look on his face...lol

the car is more of a cruiser than a racing car, its also a head turner, lots of people look thinking what car is it, it's a very rare car, not many around.

It can drink a bit if you keep driving in the vtec zone, I get about 20-25mpg around town and about 30-35 on a long run, so its not too bad considering the performance.

I would definetely recommend this car to anyone looking for a coupe with a bit of power.

By the way the 4ws is awesome, theres no such thing as a 3 point turn, it can take corners at ridiculous speeds.

Highly recommended.

I own a Honda Prelude 2.2 VTi Motegi. It gets a bit scary after 100mph. It feels a lot faster than its actually going. It's probably because it's low down.
