1997 Hyundai Accent review from North America
"A disappointment"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The clutch went after having it for one year, which nearly caused an accident. This has also happened to a friends model which is also a Hyundai Accent.
It is now in the garage - I need to replace the spark plugs and spark plug wires.
The sunroof leaks.
The trim around the trunk has come off.
The trunk lid is held in place by plastic brackets which have also snapped.
General comments?
You buy cheap - expect to pay a lot in upkeep. I bought a new car thinking that I wouldn't have the troubles that I might have with a used one. What a disappointment.
