Nothing has gone wrong so far.
So far I am very satisfied with my Getz 1.5 CRDi, 16v, 65 kW (88 HP). It is very responsive and I enjoy driving it. It makes me want to race on the road the whole time. But the suspension is not built for any kind of racing, it is very soft and therefore, the ride is very comfortable.
The fuel economy could be a little better. On the highways the consumption is between 5 and 6 Liters/100km (56.5 – 47.1 miles per gallon UK), depending on the driving style, and in the city 7.5 – 8.5 Liters/100km (37.7 – 33.2 miles per gallon UK), depending on rush hours.
I do not have any service experience so far, since the car has only 3900 km.

You should, with a high probability, become yet another happy owner. I have a 2005 FX 1.5 manual and have had much pleasure in my purchace on all levels. I have also spoken too many other owners who have almost all been wonderful people happy to talk about the Getz. Once I talked to a lady who now had three family members who bought one after seeing what a great little car her Getz is. Many other amazing stories such as a sales lady who hit two wombats and survived with a loose front bumper and small crease in one gaurd and drives thousands of miles a week on broken roads in hers and had never had any reliability issues. I think you can feel confident, as I now do, that Hyuindai do make excellent cars, that give you a lot more than other so called premium car companies! And you pocket the difference to cover running costs for the first coupleof years!!
