1991 Mazda 626 DX review from North America
"Average Car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Lots of leaking hoses. (expected for it's age)
Auto seat belts work 75 percent of the time.
Wiring shortage in wipers.
A/C compressor went out at 175000 miles.
General comments?
Not a bad vehicle to get you from A to B. Daily driver of 90 miles a day. Avg. 28 MPG. Roomy interior. Handles O.K. Generally Parts are not very expensive. Bought car for $300 and spent $800 (torque converter) on transmission to get it going. Overall not too bad for a fixer upper. Transmission doesn't have a good rep for this model. Hard shifting but still going.
