In the past 4 years I have had 2 Mazda B2600 4x4 trucks and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
One I use for extreme off road, and the other as a daily driver, not to say that one couldn't handle both... this truck off the assembly line has the best gear ratio, 4x4 capability, and on road driving than any truck in its class. My off road truck is a 1989 and my daily truck is a 93. These years are the same trucks. I have 33in tires on my 89 and 31's on my daily driver.
I could not ever love any other vehicle more than I love these Mazda trucks. They are great truck for many different purpose's. Easily beat Nissan and Toyota. They don't even compare. I have hooked up to both and pulled them down the road backwards.
If you can get your hands on a Mazda B2600 4x4, I would do it.. you will not regret it... that's a promise.

I live by Spokane Washington and I have been looking for a parts truck for over a year. I have a lifted 92 Mazda B2600i 4x4 and I have never been able to drive it because I needed a new rear assembly. My old one had chewed up teeth and I just put a ad on Craigslist.
Someone called me and I drove 2 hours and trailered my parts truck home for 150 bucks. I am sooo happy, I was jumping up and down like a little kid. New rear axle, new CV joint, new front window and many other extra parts! I met a hot girl at the bar last week and she took me home with her and it doesn't even compare to how I feel now!
All your guys comments only add to my happiness to get my truck on the road and show it off!

If you google 1990 Mazda B2600 lift, you will find a few different body lifts, and an air lift suspension kit. I will include a link. I have a 1990 4x4 with 216,000, and it runs great, on and off road.

Try these. I still don't know what size tire you might be able to use.
