Rear chrome bumper rusted away due to sea water exposure and lack of maintenance.
Rear brake system was rebuilt due to salt deposits and rust.
Transfer case 4x4 chain got worn out because of the off-road use in extreme conditions.
Computer fixed, apparent caustic leak.
I must say that all this things are a small price to pay for the use and abuse that I have put this truck through.
The engine is original Mazda and not Mitsubishi in my truck.
During the winter time in Massachusetts it went through the snow with no problem. A snow storm could not stop it.
This truck is great for running in the sand because of its light weight.
I am in the process of rebuilding it and returning it to its original state and more.
This truck has been to places that my friend's jeep has not been able to.
This truck might not be as fast as others, but it sure is light, strong and capable of riding through any surface.
I hope to find a suspension lift kit and a locker system for it so I can really enjoy the truck to it's full potential.
Fuel economy is not that great, but it is more economic than my 1996 4runner.
I believe that finding the right combination of parts, lift kit, differential ratio, suspension system and engine upgrade; my truck will be in the cover of 4wheeler magazine.
Wow! I really like this truck.
I Have owned a 1988 B2600 pickup for 5 years. I kept the vehicle after selling my business because I couldn't part with it. I think it could climb trees if I tried. I have had many comments from former owners of a truck like mine who wished they still owned one. Denton Newland Englewood FL.
I own a 1992 b2600i 4X4.this truck is one of the best trucks I have owned, i take it to the snow and the sand it handles it all with ease. i just bought a new motor, and many new parts, but I cannot find a lift kit or weather seals and some interior trim, if anyone has any info it will be greatly appreciated!I'm turning this truck into a off road baja rig. i have found baja fenders at glassworks unlimited.com, and some nice after market parts at partstrain.com.
Please help us find more parts suppliers...

If you google 1990 Mazda B2600 lift you will find a few different body lifts and a air lift suspension kit. I will include a couple of the links. I have a 1990 4x4 with 216,000 and it runs great on and off road.

Try these. I still don't know what size tire you might be able to use.
I have a 1989 B2600 with 3in body lift. It holds 32's no problem. I was wondering if Calmini torsion bars from a Nissan pickup of the same year would fit on my Mazda as the suspension lift, what does anyone think?
In the past 4 years I have had 2 Mazda B2600 4x4 trucks and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
One I use for extreme off road, and the other as a daily driver, not to say that one couldn't handle both... this truck off the assembly line has the best gear ratio, 4x4 capability, and on road driving than any truck in its class. My off road truck is a 1989 and my daily truck is a 93. These years are the same trucks. I have 33in tires on my 89 and 31's on my daily driver.
I could not ever love any other vehicle more than I love these Mazda trucks. They are great truck for many different purpose's. Easily beat Nissan and Toyota. They don't even compare. I have hooked up to both and pulled them down the road backwards.
If you can get your hands on a Mazda B2600 4x4, I would do it.. you will not regret it... that's a promise.
