1993 Mazda MX6 LS review from North America
"Serious affordable performance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Both rear brake calipers stick due to the emergency brake lines rusting open. A little wd40 or PB Blaster and a couple well placed knocks with a hammer will free things up.
New cv joints on both sides.
Sunroof whines, tighten up the brackets and lubrication smooths things up.
Cracked windsheild, seems to be a common problem due to driving at high speeds.
Paint has oxidized some right behind both rear passenger windows.
General comments?
Car has serious power regardless 146,000 miles.
Mine has not been driven hard, only expressway driving, no snow.
Handling is exceptional for a front wheel drive sports car.
I spent $500 plus two new front struts put on myself and it rides like a dream.
