2001 Peugeot 307 XSi review from UK and Ireland
"Good looking motor shame about the faults"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Delivered without floor mats which were part of standard spec.
Indicator switch auto-cancels too quickly and dangerously easy to hit main beam in the struggle to keep it on. Replaced, but still faulty to some extent.
Knocking noise - dealer has replaced most parts, but noise still apparent at times.
Failure of wipers on high speed in heavy rain - when taken to dealer no fault found. Again dangerous.
Failure of electronics, speedo, revs, air conditioning, radio for 1-2 seconds. Trip counter cycling through random numbers. No fault found, but software update done.
Recall for ignition switch.
General comments?
Nice looking car, but very disappointed with the number of faults and the lack of customer service from Peugeot UK.
Difficult to see front corners of car.
