2001 Peugeot 307 XS review from Australia and New Zealand
"A very good car without the build faults"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Ignition switch had to be replaced as erratic starting and total failure when going around a bend, with associated failure of power steering assistance and brake assistance. We were not told of any recall at any stage.
Carpet in drivers side front foot well does not fit properly and keeps popping out.
Gear changing seemed to be only at excessively high revs and this was cured after the software was reprogrammed.
General comments?
The performance is adequate, although the engine is a bit rough at mid to high revs.
Comfort and handling are very good.
Space is good for the overall size of the car.
In Australia, the specifications are excellent, with airbags, climate control, trip meter, ABS, etc etc.
