The seal for the right driving shaft went out, and my ABS went out. But I got revenge I modified the the ABS system and most of the car.
The car handles like a princesse once dropped 4".
Add a turbo and nothing stands in your way.
I started my project as soon as I bought it.
I added a turbo, and a air intake 2 intakes pipes on each side plus a new skirt by RS racing.
17"OZ with 205-30-17 wheels.
On the motor there is vextor feul management and I cromed most of the motor.
To top it off a stainless steel exhaust.
From 150 stcok hp too 280hp now the car is my pride and joy.
I have a 2002 pontiac sunfire and I wanted to know were you got your products, such as your turbocharger and intakes because I have already gotten the fiberglass hood, the spoiler and the ground effects skirt, but know I want to go to the motor
I own a 2001 Sunfire with a full body kit, rims, lowerd and every thing else. But it is all looks and no go, I only have 160hp maybe from my 2.4litter engine. It has a new exhaust system, ram air/cold air intake, new throttle body and Intake manifold. And I'm looking to buy a TurboCharger for my car and was wondering if any one could help me out as of where is the best place to buy it from. Why are you putting this kind of money into a sunfire, they're meant for chicks first off, and secondly largly underpowered, and definetly not reliable with 200+ hp, if your putting that kind of money into a car, go buy a 3rd generation Toyota supra, stock 230 hp turbo charged, and you can pick on up for that same price as a stock sunfire. just a word of advise.
Yeah that's y my 2001 sunfire beat a supercharged mazda and a escort with a turbo on it... its real slow lol.. yea rite it's a beast on the quarter mile...LATA.
I want to totally renovate my 99' sunfire. I don't know why, I just do. It's an urge. I love Pontiac, but I don't want to get a tricked out Trans Am like everyone else. So this is my project. And it was the owners project. Lets bring variety to the world.
So you dropped a sunfire 4 inches and then added 17 inch wheels, after which you then added intakes on BOTH sides. both sides of what? Now, I do understand that this is a forum to express yourself, but have you ever actually SEEN a sunfire?
Since he bought one, I assume he saw it first, and promptly began to make it into a different car. A sort of turbocharged penny-pinching rocket car.
