1996 Saturn SL Sl1 1.9L engine review from North America
"A rip-off company"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A few good things about this vehicle are, great on gas, small engine... good pickup. I drove this car only a few thousand miles until the 3rd cylander went bad. After I had spoken with a car mechanic I found out, either the engine would have to be rebuilt, which can range anywhere from 2,000-4,000, or get another engine which can cost around 1900. From what I was recently told, Saturn cars usualy won't last past 90,000 miles.
Right up untill cylander3 died, my car ran fine, no lights on the dash were on the car appaired as normal.
Infact I have a friend who had the same car as me, his seized up after he added more oil. wierd huh, anyhow I think Saturn needs to redesign theyre engines, something needs to change to upper theyre standards of quality!!!
General comments?
If your looking for a car Don't get a Saturn, you will regret it if you do! theyre cheaply made.
