2000 Skoda Fabia GLX1 review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent value for money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission warning light came on after some 25,000 miles - returned to dealer to fix.
On 30,000 mile service, I asked dealer to investigate excessive noise on idling. Investigation showed brackets on cam belt had snapped - could have resulted in significant problems / damage to pistons if not corrected.
General comments?
Car has been very reliable, although metallic paint scratches very easily.
Dealer service / support has been excellent.
