After racing many ,many times, have found that I needed to replace the clutch, but this was a needed replacement anyway, just waited till absolutely necessary to do it... see, the engine needs to be lowered to change the spark plugs, so, I figured I would change to a high performance clutch, platinum spark plugs, improved wires and HKS intake and breather with Blow-out valve...
This car handles extremely well, previous owner I purchased from took very good care of the car... I am going to change to 17" racing rims with low profiles for better grip... this car is very fast totally stock, have raced WRX's in Japan and found it to be competitive, due to bigger engine, but they have more stock mods.. with a few mods and improvements, say lowering a bit, it will surely run the line faster.
I was just wondering why you had to lower the engine to replace the spark plugs? is this a phase 1 2.2, or a stroked DOHC 2.0? either way you should not have to lower the the engine to replace the plugs. it is very agonizing to replace plugs in any of our DOHC engines, the eg33 being
the worst I've seen. but I never had to lower the engine?
It's a pain in the butt and I had to make my own spark plug boot puller, but I didn't have to lower the engine to change plugs. (98 dohc 2.5L) Although It would make things a lot easier :p.
