1990 Toyota 4Runner SR5 review from North America
"Clumsy and used too much gas and had no power"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes.
Wheel bearings.
Paint.
Transmission didn't like to shift from park.
General comments?
When my 1988 Buick LeSabre was stolen, my parents insisted on buying me a Toyota 4Runner. I was totally against it because the old versions were slow and clumsy. They bought it anyways and it turned out to be a big mistake. We would have been better off keeping their 1991 Plymouth Voyager.
