1993 Toyota Pickup review from North America
"You will never go wrong with a Toyota"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only faults that have occurred were items that wear out.
I replaced the clutch at 150,000 miles. I replace the tires and brakes as they wear out. I changed the battery once. Oil and spark plugs were changed as suggested. Nothing else has failed! Over 200,000 miles and still runs like new.
General comments?
This is by far the highest quality vehicle I have ever owned. It was originally purchased as a work truck, and became a commuter for a while.
Despite the high number of miles on this truck, everything still works. Nothing leaks out, and the oil stays full between changes.
I can still pull my boat up to the mountains, or climb the Altamont pass at 75 MPH, without shifting out of 5th gear. I wish everything was this reliable.
