Abosolutly nothing. It was owned by my Grandparents before me, and it has had no major, or minor faults, Just normal wear and tear.
What can I say. The Cavalier is a truly fantastic car. Not the greatest looker in the world, but it does everything you would expect and more. They are fast and reliable, comfortable, and never fail to surprise passengers. A far better car than the Vectra which followed it up.
The biggest flaw with the 93 model is the lack of alloy wheels and ABS brakes, which came later on.
I've owned my 1993 for 6 years and it has ABS brakes, they turn on 10 seconds after the ignition is switched on.
Early 93 models (like mine) didn't have the ABS, alloys or 16v engine - they came later that year.
I have owned my 1993 cavalier GLS TD since November 1998 & it has never given me any trouble at all, just niggly things, mileage was 117000 & is now on 199500, still runs perfect
Registered in April 1993 it also has the airbag & ABS, neither of which have ever given any problems.
What more can I say, excellent car & I will keep it till it drops, bodywork is still very good as well, including the rear arches (washing the arches out every couple of weeks with a hosepipe really does help), the metallic grey paint still outshines cars half its age.

That was my comment above, I sold the old TD to my mate about 18 months ago, it was then on 220,000 miles.
He ran it into the ground quicker than I could have ever imagined, then scrapped it.
