50K, Transmission fell out on the 101 Freeway threatening the safety of my life, after purchasing the car from a private party and mechanics approval.
Front rotors replaced, brake pads replaced.
Cruise control does not work.
Back rotors shimmer when braking and have very fine low hum after a few hours of driving.
I have recently purchased a S70 Volvo T-5 after searching to get this car for over three years. I was very excited and looking forward to the enhanced reliability, safety and performance of a Volvo. Most of all I was interested in purchasing a car that would not breakdown.
Well it broke down on the 101 in nasty traffic causing a major problems and dangerous situation.
I do not like this car, and will never buy a Volvo again...
After reading your review I was mildly amused. What where you doing when the transmission just "fell" out?!?! Most transmissions are held in by about 3 different transmission mounts, not including the mounting of the bell housing to the motor. when you comment on a car and say the transmission fell out, please explain what you where doing to your car to "enhance" the probability of a magical transmission.
