The battery failed at 70,000 miles and had to be replaced at a cost of $63.00 from a local auto parts store.
The 3.3 liter V6 is good enough for passing on uphill grades and returns a respectable 23 miles per gallon on the highway and 18 miles per gallon with city driving. Not bad considering I'm a lead foot. The interior is quiet, but I've noticed tire noise gets a little pronounced at highway speeds.
However, the four speed automatic transmission has been very dependable and still continues to shift smoothly, even with 92,000 miles on the odometer. If I'm not mistaken, Chrysler installed a newly designed transmission on all 2001 and newer models. Because as most Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth minivan owners know, the biggest fear is having your transmission "take a crap".
