Nothing wrong so far. Had brakes inspected at 45,000 miles and was told that there was more than 50% on all 4. Hope to get 90,000 miles on my brakes. So far only replaced fuel filter at 45,000 miles.
Didn't know that I had a cabin air filter until I was told I needed a new on at 35,000 miles by the oil change shop.
I put in a K&N air filter at 15,000 miles and my MPG on a 900 mile drive to Denver increased to 33.5 MPG.
I actually purchased this car in November 2002 but it is a 2003 Model.
No anti-lock brakes and no aluminum rims so I can keep my maintenance costs lower.
I am hoping to do the S belt, brakes, tires, transmission flush, plugs and wires, alignment, and maybe radiator flush at 90,000-100,000 miles.
I shouldn't have bought that stupid GAP insurance that the salesman proposed before talking to my regular insurance agent. Another sales ripoff of $299.

You probably don't use your brakes often when driving 900 miles on highway. This would be impossible in NYC traffic. Any car who knows what traffic is would envy your Impala.
