1996 Dodge Intrepid ES review from North America
"The car's constant repairs ruin the fun of driving"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My water pump and thermostat went at around 115000.
Timing and serpentine belt were replace with the water pump.
A hose went around 118300.
Engine started a whirling sound at 118800.
The ABS and Traction lights come on randomly and the car must be restarted to reset.
General comments?
When the car is not in the shop it is great to drive, not very often.
It has a lot of leg room.
The engine is very powerful.
Once out of the shop, it is best to save gas by just turning around and heading back for its next repair.
The Sound system is amazing. (I have the Infinity sound)
The A/C blows ice cold almost immediately.
The car corner horribly and you cannot predict where or how it is going to slide.
The outside temp gage could be helpful if it didn't take 20 minutes before it would show the correct temp.
