2001 Dodge Intrepid R/T review from North America
"Best bang for the buck today"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing. This car has been flawless.
General comments?
Sleek, racy, with poised road manners, the Intrepid R/T is one sweet ride.
It has more than looks, too. The R/T has 244 HP with the autostick transmission, bigger brakes, quicker-ratio steering, stiffer stabilizer and anti-roll bars, and different spring rates. It's road manners are exceptional. It's amazing that such a large car can handle so well. This thing rides like it's on rails.
It also has ABS brakes to go along with the brake update which work so well with the suspension.
With tons of room inside and a huge trunk, you can haul five people in comfort. Quickly.
I really like the layout of the dash instrumentation. It's easy to read and looks good, too.
Then there is that body. Gorgeous, with
17 inch black Nascar style wheels and tires, the blacked out grille and a spoiler on the back, the car always gets attention.
I'm currently at 12,000 miles and the car has been flawless. Just oil changes.
