General comments?
My 2001 neon was bought as a replacement for my 1986 Dodge Omni GLH.
The Neon is comfortable roomy and very well laid out for a small, inexpensive car.
The Acceleration is unmatched by any other car manufacturer in its class, and above.
The handling performance from the factory is superb.
Bang for buck this is the car.
With respect to the Repairs the car is raced SCCA solo II Autocross, events.
The half shaft and tranny were due to excessive wear and tear race conditions.
It is also Heavily Modded.
Internal engine components, Full suspension, and almost every bolt-on mod available.
Just a note 145 top end with 5500 on the tach, 5th gear.
I'll run first to red at 35 mph.
Second to 65 mph.
Third to 95 mph.
Fourth to 125 mph.
Honda S200nd'd Beware.
