1997 Ford Taurus GL review from North America
"A good family wagon"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My Cam sensor switch went shortly after purchase.
The main computer malfunctioned shortly after purchase.
The passenger side window stopped functioning shortly after purchase.
The design of the station-wagon hatch is poor for loading cargo, such as a 4x8 sheet of plywood.
This car eats brakes, rotors and pads.
The belt tensioner and the carrier bearings seized and burned off the serpentine belt.
The safety belt system sticks in all seating areas, but the drivers, they must be fed back all the way to be able to pull them out to connect.
General comments?
This car is very handy, seats a lot of passengers.
This car is great on fuel.
It is very versatile.
Not very powerful though with standard 3.0 liter engine.
