2002 Kia Sedona EX review from North America
"A smooth running quick and comfortable minivan"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Initially, the car rack had an extremely annoying wind noise. Dealer took several hours to find the correct configuration of components to correct problem. It has been repaired and the van is very quiet.
A rock cracked my windshield and my insurance company had it replaced with no problems.
General comments?
A very quick car that has no problem entering the interstates and maintaining highway speeds.
A roomy and comfortable interior that appears well made. Having wide latitude with seats adjustments make long trips relaxing.
Gas mileage is good considering the weight of the vehicle. We average approximately 20 mpg combined highway city driving. When we stay at posted speed limits on the interstates mileage is around 25 mpg.
Engine is very smooth and extremely quiet even at highway speeds.
Reliability appears fine since we have had no problems with the vehicle since acquiring other than the earlier mentioned wind noise.
Everyone that rides in the van with us finds it very attractive and seem to think highly of it.
We will keep this van for at least the 5 years we financed it for at 1.9% and then see what other KIA models are available.
