1998 Vauxhall Vectra Arctic review from UK and Ireland
"Economical and powerful but too unreliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Broken down 8 times.
Radiator hose - off the road for 9 days.
Unknown sensor malfunction.
Wastegate sensor pipe ( 3 times).
Spill pipes - would not start.
Injector seals - would not start again.
Poor repair on previous breakdown.
General comments?
Great when it's working.
Superb performance, over 40 mpg in town.
60 mpg + on motorway.
poor dealer support.. endless letters to Vauxhall head office, very nice people but nothing gets sorted.. quality control needs to be improved dramatically.
