1992 Dodge Dakota LE review from North America
"A high performance engine wrapped in questionable electronics and paint"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes require more than normal maintenance.
Replaced radiator and water pump two times.
Fuel gage has not operated in 5 years.
Paint is severely worn.
Engine computer replaced once.
Battery goes dead every two years.
General comments?
Engine has been a great performer. Acceleration is fast, but be cautious of rear end fish tailing.
The transmission has not required any maintenance although metal chips beginning to show in fluid.
