1990 Geo Storm GSi review from North America
"Super speed without all the money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace all the motor and transmission mounts at 80,000, which I thought was quite early and cost a pretty penny.
Timing belt went because unfortunately I forgot to change it. But the GOOD thing is that when you have the GSi instead of the 2+2 you have clearance for the timing belt if/when it goes.
And the back seat! Let me put it this way, if you're 4 foot tall or under, the back seat is perfect for you!
General comments?
Unlike contrary beliefs this Geo is quite fast, it is one of the the fastest used 4 cylinder cars on the market, not to mention that they go pretty cheap.
And they look real sporty. They're not boxy like most of the inexpensive 4 cylinder cars of the eary 90's. And there are many mods available for these cars, with not too much money you can have this Storm running with the big guys!
