2001 Hyundai Tiburon review from North America
"Perfect"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The battery died after only a week of use.
Other than that, it has run very well.
General comments?
This vehicle is amazing.
Despite it's lack of head room (and battery power), it has been reliable beyond compare.
After the battery went out, I was frustrated. I immediately called the Hyundai Service Center and I laid into them. They were kind enough to drive a pick up down pick up my car and tow it to the nearest dealership. Once there they discovered that the battery had died because someone had left the dome light on in the car. (wonder who that could have been?). Unfortunately after that incident the battery never held a charge so it had to be replaced and Hyundai reimbursed me for it. Awesome.
To tell you how reliable this vehicle is let me tell you my situation. I live in Roswell, New Mexico and I have to travel to National Guard drill in Santa Fe every month. I have to drive the vehicle there once a month. It has never given me any crud. Also just recently I took my vehicle to Albuquerque and went through some of the worst weather in the world. They even closed the road it was so bad. That car handled beautifully. So that's my piece on the Tiburon. Sleek and head turning and reliable to the bone (or metal).
