1991 Peugeot 205 Junior review from Portugal
"Great little car! Good all-around!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing serious, it had some oil leaks...
One day it suddenly stopped at the motorway. In the next day, I bought some electric piece (Think it was something like the piece that conducts electricity to the spark plugs) for 10€ and it went all right until the day it went to see the world Upside-down...
Apart of that, oil changes, filters, brake pads, the common.
General comments?
As a student I need something cheap to buy, cheap to run and reliable. The answer was this 205. The car hadn't story so it was a kind of a blind purchase.
I discovered alter, that the car was parked for 6years, and the rubbers weren't in great shape...
It's comfy, spacey, although the interior is very basic, missing isolation (The junior is the basic model). It's not a runner, it had a 4 speed gearbox, but I gave 160km/h once or twice.
I recommend it to someone short of cash, as it's very economic.
