1998 Chevrolet Blazer review from North America
"I love my Blazer... so far"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Sporadic over heating.
General comments?
Replaced - water pump, which created a leak in the intake manifold gasket.
Replaced - intake manifold gasket, which caused a heater hose to blow.
Replaced - ALL hoses.
Still had sporadic over heating.
Replaced - Thermostat and clutch fan.
Because it was time - replaced - serpentine belt & tensioner, and plugs, plug wires, and distributor cap.
RUNS LIKE A CHAMP!
This was our only issue, & closing in on 100k since we bought her with 90k showing.
Me & Mr Chiltons did it all over a weekend in the backyard. Easy, easy, easy to work on. All parts were easily found.
