1996 Chevrolet Blazer s-10 review from North America
"Nice SUV, but very unreliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The first thing that I noticed was the screaming sound coming from under the hood. My husband informed me that it was the compressor to the A/C and to expensive to fix. Next to go were that brakes (again). Also the drivers side door is messed up and the door ajar buzzer will not go off. VERY ANNOYING to go on a 300 mile drive with that screaming all the way. Now the thing will not even start. We replaced the battery, fuel filter, checked the relays and the fuel pump. Checked the Blazer with a scan tool and there is no codes. The thing will just not start.
General comments?
I love the Blazer style and the way mine drives, but it is a lemon that we are putting more money into than it is worth. Seats are wearing and I cannot even sit in them to drive it, b/c it won't start...
