1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS Coupe 5.0 305 V8 from North America

Summary:

A poor mans CORVETTE simply aw-some fun

Faults:

Well I bought the car Jan 5th of 2004 and the hood latch is not working properly. NO radio the air dam is cracked as suspected like all camaro's are. Couple of small tears in seats. Dash pad is cracked. That's bout it for now!

General Comments:

MY mother started me on the 91 Camaro craze she bought on in 1991 it was metallic blue RS 5.0 and the sound it makes and the way it jumps off the line is to good to be true. My camaro is pretty much the same it's a blast to drive and it turns heads and the engine is probably the best CHEVY ever has made. I love watching the FORD Pony's in my mirror!!!

General Comments:

All around a great car. the reason for all the troubles is all the problems came all at once at about 110000 miles. after that it ran beautifully and now its put away.

Great car handles awesome. its very stiff and looks fast and it's a head turner for sure. sucks they quit making em.

1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS 3.1L V6 from North America

Summary:

The greatest car ever!

Faults:

Well when I bought the car I was told nothing was wrong with it. The next day I realized the power steering hose was cracked.

I also had to change the water pump.

I had to replace plugs, rotor, wires, and cap.

The seats were torn pretty badly, And the roof lining on the interior was coming off.

The hatch shocks are shot and need to be replaced.

I had to put four brand new tires.

The air broke and I had to replace it, and fill it with R-134a instead of R-12.

Front and rear brakes were replaced.

The radio did not work so I had to install a system. Not that I mind.

The dash pad was cracked which I replaced.

And I need to buy the grille for the front and the skirt for the front of the car because it is cracked.

Lastly I believe I need to buy a new Guage cluster because clocks are failing.

Oh and I changed the power window motor.

I also had to change the power door switch.

I want to change the fuel injectors and I will.

General Comments:

Although he has had a lot of troubles I plan on fixing him. The car has a lot of pep and can take most of the rice rockets on the street. It's a great car.

Definite head turner. Just next week I am putting some flow-masters on it. I am also looking for headers and a wider throttle body. I would never give this car up no matter how much I say I would.

1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS 5.0 from North America

Summary:

Affordable muscle

Faults:

The: fuel pump, air conditioner, cooling fan, fuel filter, starter and alternator.

General Comments:

The 1991 RS Camaro is the greatest car I have ever owned.

The V-8 5.0 liter is very powerful and gives excellent gas mileage considering that it is a V-8.

I love this car, it is reliable and is easy to modify yourself.

This car is the best handling car I have ever driven, it feels like you are in a race-car, but you do have the comfort and headroom you want and the space you need. In the front seat anyways.

Car was not expensive and is not expensive to fix when it does break.

T-tops are so much fun in the summer time. Definitely get a T-top Camaro, it looks so awesome, and much sportier than the hardtop.
