2000 Chevrolet Malibu LX review from North America
"Don't do a Malibu!! Try the Impala or something"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes and front rotors were bad from the start.
Head gasket issues - leaked coolant. Fixed 3 times.
Radio issues - CD went out, rear speakers stopped working.
Fan control issues - would work when it wanted to.
Door lock issues - continually going out, fixed and would go out again.
Windows not rolling up or down.
Check engine light stays on. After $2000 to repair, it's still on.
General comments?
The car has been a general pain in the ass the whole time we owned it.
Always something.
Once it went out of warranty it started costing us $$ to keep it going.
Dealer would not even offer an extended warranty on it when we bought it new. That should of told us something.
I am a Chevy person, and this was the WORST car we ever owned.
