1993 Ford Festiva L review from North America
"It goes fast, it doesn't waste fuel and it's a fun beast to drive!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The original clutch failed after 95,000 miles although, the clutch wear was caused by poor driving conditions more so than a component failure.
A faulty oil filter caused the car to run on only two quarts of oil on a trip of nearly 90 miles and the motor sustained no permanent damage.
The only other thing I've had to do with it is replace some parts due to routine maitenance (spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor etc).
General comments?
The motor is the most reliable motor I have ever encountered in a small car.
It handles like a dream through some really bad driving conditions.
A good commuter for city and highway driving.
